Spinal Extension

This week at MDW we are celebrating Ann's exquisite spinal extension~

Strengthening spinal extension is very important-especially for long distance runners and bikers who spend a lot of time doing repetitive movements that can pull the spine into a rounded, flexed position. It's important when engaging these sports activities to keep a healthy regular regimen of spinal extension strengthening exercises.

Ann is very active on a daily basis and knows the value of committed weekly movement practice and deeper self-care. She is constantly modeling and encouraging these important activities for our local community.

This week in her private Pilates session this dynamic moment of extension and total body integration was captured~beautiful!
